Hardy perennial from 0,50 to 1,50 m growing on the edges of rivers of which one uses t roots and flowers.

Marsh mallow calms inflammations of mucous membranes (in case of bronchitides, cold cough, laryngitis, tracheitis, stomac, cystitis ... ). Also well-known in some creams for dry skins.
In external use : Stomatitis, mouth ulcers, angina sore-throat, abscess, furoncles, eyes.


Decoction : A spoonful of flowers or roots for one cup, boil 5 minutes ; 3 cups a day.

in Decoction for gargles, washings, compress, one handful of roots for one liter of water, boil 10 minutes.

Let macerate one night 25 g of root in one liter cold water, filter and drink 3 cups a day.
