Tree from 2 to 8 m which grows in mediterranean area of which one uses the leaves.
Bay-tree is a powerful antiseptic in herb tea against bronchitis. Also in case of asthenia, rheumatisms, difficult digestion. In external use : Insect bites, angina sore-throat. Infusion : Several leaves for one boiling cup of water, let infuse 10 minutes ; 3 cups a day. Tonic bath; let macerate during 48 hours, 350g of bays and leaves in 5 liter of cold water, pour into a hot bath.
