Bear's garlic has properties close to common garlic, it cause a drop in blood pressure and prevents arteriosclerosis. It relieves stomac pains, facilitates digestion, it is used to heal diarrhoeas, colics and stimulate appetite. Bear's garlic is vermifuge. Some people use it as a depurative cure during 3 weeks every spring.


Used as a spice : Leaves are cut in small pieces like chive or parsley and added on soups, sauces, salads...


Tincture : Fill a bottle with chopped leaves, cover with alcohol 40 % (wodka, rhum), let macerate 15 days in a sunny place, take 15 drops a day in a glass of water.
