Hardy perennial of the meadows from 0,1 to 0,2 m of which one uses
flowers and leaves.
English daisy is often prescribed for hypertension and arteriosclerosis. Also : Asthma, bronchitis, laryngitis, cough, asthenia, insomnia, rheumatisms, angina sore-throat. In external use : Hematoma, burns, furuncles, ulcers, distorsions. Infusion 1 teaspoon for one cup of boiling water, let infuse 10 minutes ; 3 cups a day. Decoction; 20g of dried flowers and leaves in 1 liter of wine, boil during 5 minutes, filter, 2 glasses a day against bronchitis. Compresses with a decoction; 150g of dried flowers and leaves for 1 liter of water, boil 5 minutes; applied on furuncles.
