Annual plant of the meadows and lawns except in the
Mediterranean area, growing to 0,30 m of which one uses whole.
Eyebright has a long history in the treatment of eye problems, conjunctivitis, blepharitis, also prescribed for colds, catarrhs, pharyngitis, sinusitis. Also : Hepatic insufficiency, stomatitis. Infusion : 15 g for one liter of water ; 3 cups a day. Decoction : 40 g for one liter of water in compress external use. Tepid mouthwash 4 times a day with a decoction; 30g of plant for 1 liter of water, boil 10mn, do not swallow.
