Dangerous plant in case of overdose. Common shrub from 0,50 to 2,50 m of which one uses flowers and young branches. Common broom is used as a diuretic. Also : Cardiac insufficiency, hypotension, hydrous retention. In external use : Vasoconstrictive, abscesses. Infusion : 15 g for one liter of water ; 2 cups a day.
