Common tree of the wooded areas growing to 5 m of which one uses the bark, leaves and catkins.

Hazel tree is mainly used for its astringent properties in case of metrorrhagia, hemorroids, nosebleed, phlebites, varicose ulcers.
Also : Febrifuge
And in external use : varicose veins, wounds, oedemas, ulcers, obesity (catkins).



For swollen eyelids: compresses with an infusion of 20 g of leaves for 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse during 10 hours, filter.

Wash the wound with an infusion of 25 g of leaves in 1 liter of boiling water, let infuse during 10 minutes.
