Hardy perennial of the waste lands of which one uses the flowers, flowered tops and fresh juice.
Heartsease is purifying and efficient in case of skin troubles. Also : Indigestion, arteriosclerosis, rheumatism, prostatic adenoma. In external use : Acne, scab, eczema, psoriasis, urticaria, herpes, tinea, impetigo. Decoction : One spoonful for one cup of cold water, boil then infuse 10 minutes ; 3 cups a day. Compress with an infusion of 60 g for one liter of water.
