Dangerous plant in case of overdose. Hardy perennial of the wet and marshy grounds from 0,20 to 0,50 m, one uses the whole plant flowered and dried. Hedge hyssop is used for cirrhoses, chronic affections of the liver, jaundice. Also : Constipation, uraemia, oedemas. In external use : Dermathosis. Infusion : 5 g for one liter of boiling water ; 2 to 3 cups a day.
