Herbaceous plant from 0,20 to 0,60 m which grows in cereal fields and slopes of which one uses petals of the flower.

Out of infusion the poppy calms cough and bronchial affections.
Also : Asthma, angina sore-throat, insomnia, colics.
In external use : Eyes, dental abscesses , dry skin.


Infusion : 1 pinch of flowers for 1 boiling cup of water cup, let infuse 10 minutes ; 3 cups a day.

Sirrup, let infuse 12 hours in a covered container, 400 g of fresh flowers in 1 liter of ebulient water, filter, add 1.4 kg of sugar and cook in order to obtain the desired consistency.
