Cultivated plant harvested in autumn of which one uses seeds.
One consumes pumpkin seeds for their vermifuge effect (ascaris), without toxic effect it can be prescribed against tapeworm for pregnant women or for children.
Also : Traditional Remedy for prostate disorders, mild laxative.
For the prostate : Eat one spoonful of seeds a day.
For tapeworm : crush some pumpkin seeds mixed with honey ; make a diet the day before, next morning drink 1/2 glass of milk to start the tenia's appetite then eat 50g of seeds crushed in honey at once.
